What happens after I submit my rental info?

We’ll attempt to verify the information you provided with your landlord and also verify their identity in accordance with credit bureau requirements.

How do you contact my landlord?

If you provided us with an email address they’ve probably already received an email from [email protected] letting them know that you have enrolled with Rent to Credit and we need them to verify your info. If we don’t hear back from them in 2 business days we follow up with a phone call and even a fax if needed. Once we receive their approval, we send your rental information to TransUnion and Equifax to be added to your credit file.

How long does it take?

The whole process usually takes less than 30 days. You can check on your status at any time by calling +1 (844) 307-3700 or emailing us at [email protected]

What if my landlord won’t cooperate?

Our system is so easy for landlords that most have no problem verifying rent for their tenants. We will make several attempts to obtain rental verification by email, phone and fax. In the end however, if they refuse to participate we will issue you a full refund.
